“Funding is an important driver for the development of Tunisian startups, especially in HealthTech, a sector which often requires significant resources for the scientific and technical validation of projects,” declared Dr Wafa B’chir, Senior Partner and co-founder of Connect’Innov . “This privileged collaboration with 216 Capital will allow us to offer the startups in our programs better preparation for the Investment Readiness phase thanks to the involvement of 216 Capital Experts and will offer them the opportunity to see the fund invest quickly in their capital in the Seed phase thanks to involvement throughout the programs with us to better monitor the projects and their evolution.”
For Mrs. Dhekra Khelifi, Partner at 216 Capital, “Our strategic positioning is to get closer to structures like Connect’Innov to support the preparation for investment of projects from the start. This partnership with Connect'Innov positions us upstream on projects supported by the structure and will allow us to quickly detect interesting projects and monitor their support in order to prepare for the Investment Readiness phase and reduce the risk of our investment . We believe in the benefits of this collaboration for both parties and especially for the supported startups and we wish to actively contribute together to the creation of success stories in the Tunisian ecosystem and particularly in the HealthTech sector.”
