Expan'Africa / immersive days Mauritania: Days 3 & 4

✨The Tunisian delegation continues its momentum in Nouakchott as part of the Expan'Africa program. The fourth and fifth days of the mission were marked by meetings with key players in the pharmaceutical, hospital, and academic sectors, as well as a cultural outreach session to better understand the local context.
The fourth day was dedicated to exploring the Mauritanian pharmaceutical landscape. The delegation was first hosted by LABOREX Mauritanie – CFAO Healthcare, a key player in pharmaceutical distribution. The visit continued at مجموعة شنقيط فارما - Groupe Chinguitty Pharma, a leading local company in the distribution of pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, and parapharmaceuticals. The day culminated in a visit to the National Hospital Center, the country's largest public hospital, where discussions highlighted specific needs in terms of equipment, flow management, and digital solutions. Finally, a meeting with MauriMedis, a company specializing in the distribution of medications and laboratory equipment, helped identify complementary opportunities with Tunisian offerings. The day concluded with an institutional exchange with the National Health Federation, which provided a cross-disciplinary overview of the sector's challenges and paved the way for more structured cooperation between professionals.
On the fifth day, the delegation visited the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Dentistry of Nouakchott before concluding the day on a friendly and human note with a cultural tour of the city of Nouakchott, strengthening ties between participants and providing a more complete immersion in the Mauritanian environment. 🙏 A huge thank you to all our hosts for their welcome, their availability, and the quality of their discussions.
