Expan'Africa's Immersive Days: 🌍 A bridge between our continent's talents
🚀 Heading for Senegal!
As part of the ExPan'AFRICA program, a delegation of six Tunisian companies, accompanied by the Connect'Innov team, flew out on Saturday, May 24, 2025, for an immersion in Dakar, Senegal's dynamic and booming capital.
The afternoon of Sunday, May 25, was dedicated to a smooth start with a presentation and training session on the Senegalese ecosystem, with a focus on the healthcare sector. This session was led by Mr. Rivolala Ratsimandresy, CEO of the Rencontre des Entrepreneurs (RDE) organization. 🗓️ A day full of opportunities
Monday, May 26th, marked the beginning of the meetings:
1️⃣ Visit to Sunulabo, a leading medical analysis laboratory in Senegal, recognized for its quality diagnostic services.
2️⃣ Official meeting at the Tunisian Embassy in Dakar 🇹🇳, where His Excellency Rachid Saidani, Ambassador of Tunisia to Senegal, welcomed the ExPan'AFRICA initiative. He reaffirmed the importance of inter-African synergies in building sustainable economic partnerships, especially in the health sector.
3️⃣ Discovery of the Pasteur Institute in Dakar, a historic player in biomedical research in West Africa. The meeting opened up opportunities for collaboration in biotechnology, health, and innovation. 🔍 Immersion in Healthcare Facilities
The afternoon was dedicated to visiting two iconic facilities:
Dakar Main Hospital (a renowned military hospital)
Bellevue Clinic (a private facility renowned for the excellence of its care and its openness to medical innovation).
These discussions allowed local healthcare professionals and the Tunisian delegation to share their experiences on the sector's needs and opportunities for collaboration.
